What ages can dance at Legacy Dance?
We offer classes for children as young as 3-years-old, all the way up to 18-years-old. We have classes for all skill levels.
What is the cost of classes at Legacy Dance?
Tuition
Due at the first lesson of each month. Payable by cash, check (made out to Legacy Dance) or through the Parent Portal with card (additional fees apply).
One class per week-$50.00 /month
Two classes or two children -$68.00/ month
Three classes or three children- $80.00/ month
Each additional class - $15.00
Additional Costs
*A one time registration fee applies at the beginning of the year - $10.00
*Return check charge -$25.00

What is the Dance attire and shoes requirement?
We only request appropriate dance wear. leotards, tights, ballet skirts, leggings, jazz pants, exercise wear. No jeans or street clothes.
No food or gum allowed during classes. Students may bring their own water bottles.
Shoes
If your student needs shoes, you are welcome to bring your old pair of dance shoes and trade them out with a pair that fits from our used shoe bin!

Tap Shoes - $25.00
Tap Shoes (oxford/ 12+ older) - $35.00
Ballet Shoes - $20.00
Jazz Shoes - $31.00
Will I be able to watch my child dance?
As we do not have a viewing window and the door gets closed each class to allow for our students to pay their fullest attention to their teachers, we invite our families to Watch Week twice a year. This is typically during the fall and early spring. We love this time to show how much your student has been learning and improving!

Are there any days we will not have class?
Legacy Dance follows the Harrisonville school district calendar closely. The studio will be closed on the following major holidays:
Thanksgiving Break. November 26th - 28th
Winter Break. December 22nd - Jan.6th
Spring Break. March 16th- 20th
